University of Fukui (UF) is a national university located in the central part of Japan and facing the Sea of Japan. UF has four schools: Education, Medical Sciences, Engineering, and Global and Community Studies. Each school has its graduate school. About 5,000 students study at UF.

Q1. Does UF provide scholarship opportunity?

A1. If the applicant wishes to secure his/her scholarship prior to their admission, the only option is to apply for MEXT scholarship (embassy recommendation, or university recommendation if the application is from one of UF’s partner universities).

International Affairs Division provides scholarship information from private foundations for international students currently studying at UF. Please check the following link for the list of scholarship.

Q2. Does UF have degree programs in English?

A2. The Graduate School of Engineering offers a Master’s program call ed GEPIS and a doctoral program called GEP for R&D. Please find more details in the following link.
